Learn More About Gum Disease
Gum disease is an infection in the tissue that surrounds your teeth, caused by the build up of plaque. Left untreated, it progresses into gingivitis and eventually periodontitis, a serious condition that can result in bone and tooth loss.
-
Healthy Gums
Gums should be pale pink, firm, and fit snugly around your teeth.
-
Gingivitis
Plaque hardens into calculus, causing irritation and inflammation.
-
Periodontitis
Gums will be noticeably receding and pockets will form between gums and teeth.
-
Severe Periodontitis
As periodontitis progresses, tissue and bone that support teeth are lost, which causes loose teeth.

Proclaim is easy to use and it's very quick which makes it easier to do it after every meal. Food does come out so it looks like it's doing its job. The delivery was behind however; was supposed to receive my unit by the end of December and didn't receive it until the beginning of March.
